Description

The nose opens with notes of red fruit such as raspberries and blackcurrants before revealing its spicy and toasted aromas.  The palate is round and broad with silky tannins, and reveals excellent aromatic persistence.  The ensemble is rich and shows a lovely freshness on the finish.

Terroir & Winemaking

Originating from the finest terroirs composed of smooth pebbles, this wine, made from Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, concentrates the aromatic richness and generosity of the region’s vineyards. The Mediterranean climate and the exceptional soil lend this wine excellent balance and structure, while preserving its finesse.

After total destemming, the grapes are vinified in the traditional temperature-controlled manner with a two-week maceration. A small proportion of Syrah is vinified by carbonic maceration to accentuate the fruitiness.
